Some customers look right past these refurbished Kubota tractors and gaze at the shiny new Kubota tractors waiting for a good home, while there is nothing wrong with a new tractor, I want to take some time to help dispel some common misconceptions about refurbished Kubota tractors. Obviously every tractor is different and some of the misconceptions can be true, but as a whole the refurbished Kubotas at Philbert Machinery do not fall into the following categories:
Refurbished Tractors are Worn Out
Tractors that are not brand new can have a negative connotation because many customer believe that they are worn out and bound for issues. However, at Philbert Machinery we ensure that our refurbished Kubotas are completely rebuilt to the highest standards with full overhaul of the engine and transmission. Theses Kubota tractors are great little tractors and our customers love them, especially with a front end loader and four in one bucket (4-in-1).
You Can’t Get Parts for an Older Kubota
Kubota has one of the best parts programs in the industry. Even if we don’t have the part in stock chances are, we can get one in a couple days time; even for units dating back to the 70s.
There is No Support for refurbished Kubotas
It’s true that many used Kubota tractors have outlived their warranty. However, at Philbert Machinery our refurbished tractors comes with a comprehensive inventory of spare parts on hand to ensure you have all you need to maintain your tractor. Our tractors also come with a 12 months standard warranty which includes:
First 6 month warranty: comprehensive warranty, including parts, labour and all travel expenses.
Second 6 months: covers parts only.
Refurbished Kubota Tractors Can’t Use Modern Implements
Some of the best news for anyone looking for a refurbished tractor is that most modern implements run off of the three point hitch, which hasn’t changed much in the last 50 years. You may run into an issue with remote hydraulic or plumbing for a loader but there is almost always some kind of work around for these types exceptions.
Older Kubota Tractors Don’t Have as Many Features
This one is actually true. However it shouldn’t be viewed as a bad thing. At the end of the day, our customers are looking for a tool to get a particular job done. While the new features can make that job easier, a lot of the time the older, simpler tractors can do just as well if not better.
